Two Rochester women summonsed in Sunday night Sanford assault

SANFORD, Maine - Two Rochester, N.H., were summonsed on assault charges in connection with an incident in Sanford on Sunday night.

Details regarding the incident remain sketchy, but Sanford Police said today they responded to a "disturbance" around 6:10 p.m. at 6 Washington St. As a result, Kristen J. Ranberg, 23, and Sara M. Salvatore, 19, both of Trinity Circle, were summonsed.

No details on their court date were released.
