Update with link to referendum items: Hearing to include discussion on agency liquor stores

LEBANON, Maine - A Public Hearing will be held on Monday to discuss two special town referendums to be voted on next month.

The two referendums include one that would allow agency liquor stores in town. The owner of Hometown Mobil led the referendum effort in hopes to allow his convenience store to sell spirits. It is not clear if Trains Convenience store would also seek agency approval if the referendum passes.

The other referendum would include "amendments to the appeals board ordinance."

Copies of the Special Referendum Warrant and Ordinances are available at Town Offices.

The public hearing begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the Lebanon Elementary School gym on Upper Guinea Road.
