DOVER - A warrant for the arrest of a Milton man was issued today after he failed to show up for a plea and sentencing hearing at Strafford County Superior Court.
Joel Ducharme, 38, of Liberty Circle, Milton, had been charged with being a habitual offender, a felony, as well as two domestic violence criminal mischief misdemeanors in connection with a July 7, 2016, incident in Milton.
Assistant County Attorney Chelsea Elizabeth Lane said Ducharme allegedly threw a metal grill off a porch and kicked a door causing a hole.
According to a Milton Police Arrest Log entry from last July, Ducharme was also arrested that day for a DWI and violating a protection order.
Lane said she couldn't discuss details of the plea deal since it has not yet been finalized due to Ducharme's failure to appear.
