Woman indicted in screwdriver stabbing of ex-boyfriend

Didi Fall (Police mughshot)

ALFRED, Maine - A Lebanon woman has been indicted in a March domestic assault during which she allegedly stabbed her former boyfriend with a battery-operated screwdriver.

Maine State Troopers first responded to the Richardson Drive incident around 6:45 p.m. on March 1 for a report of a domestic disturbance.

When troopers arrived on scene they found a man with substantial lacerations to his hand. It was learned that his ex-girlfriend, Didi Fall, 32, of Lebanon, had stabbed him with a cordless screwdriver during an argument.

Fall was indicted on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence assault charges as well as a violation of bail count.

The most serious charge of assault with a deadly weapon can result in a prison sentence of up to 10 years.

The York County grand jury indictments were handed down on Wednesday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been presented to a grand jury to warrant a trial.
