ROCHESTER - Robert E. Plante died Saturday, March 25, 2017, at his home with his wife Cecelia (CeCe) and daughter Corey by his side.
He is survived by a son, Marty Plante and his wife Linda of Virginia; a daughter Annette Plante of Barrington, N.H.; a brother Raymond Plante and his wife Betty of West Lebanon, N.H.; three step daughters who he loved very much, Leslie Kimbrell and her husband Donnie of Georgia, Corey Harnish of Dover, Stephanie Gardner of Georgia and a daughter-in-law Kim Harnish of Florida; eight grandchildren, Sarah, Leslie, Amanda, Amelia, Jacob, Amara, Dana and Kyle; four great-grandchildren, Jacen, Beckett, Zachary and Luca; and many other nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by six brothers from Somersworth; Louis, Arthur, Alfred, Joseph, Paul and Richard; a sister Madeleine from Arizona; and a step son J. Jay Harnish of Tampa, Fla.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to all the people from Brook Haven Hospice: Julia, Laurie, Veronica, Megan and Danika who treated Bob and I with loving care, and a special thank you to Susan Jimenez, who I could not have managed without her. They would also like to thank Colleen and Sheila for caring so much.
