EAST KENSINGTON - A 15-year-old East Kingston girl died Sunday at a Boston hospital from injuries she received in a weather-related crash on Friday in Kingston.

The crash occurred around 11:35 a.m. on North Road in East Kingston near the Kensington town line.

Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2010 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound when its operator lost control and crossed into the southbound travel lane, where it was struck on the passenger side by a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado traveling south.

The impact caused both vehicles to come to a position of final rest off the western edge of the roadway.

The weather conditions at the time of the crash included snow and rain mixture with noticeable accumulation on the road surface.

The operator of the Toyota, a 17-year old female from East Kingston was transported to the Exeter Hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries. Her passenger, the young woman who died, was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital and later to Boston Children's Hospital.

The operator of the Chevrolet, Bryce Perreault, 22 of Kensington, was evaluated for injuries at the Exeter Hospital and released.

Due to the serious nature of the collision and the fatal injury that incurred, the East Kingston Police Department has requested that the State Police assume control of the investigation.

At this time weather appears to have contributed to this collision, however all aspects remain under investigation. Anyone that may have further information related to this crash is encouraged to contact Tr. Tyler Dodds at 603-223-8490 or email at Tyler.M.Dodds@dos.nh.gov.
