2 hurt in four-car chain reaction crash on Gonic Road

GONIC - Two motorists were injured in a four-car crash today on Route 125 in Gonic.

The accident occurred around 7:40 a.m. in the area between Flagg and Gear roads.

Police say three vehicles were headed southbound and stopped in traffic when a fourth vehicle, a 2006 Jeep Liberty driven by Kylie Gagnon, 22, of Barrington, crashed into one of the stopped cars, causing a chain reaction in which the other two vehicles were also struck.

Gagnon and Trent Taylor, 21, of Wolfeboro, who was driving a 2006 Subaru Outback, were both taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The vehicles driven by Gagnon, Taylor and one other motorist were all towed from the scene due to extensive damage sustained in the crash.
