CONCORD - State DHHS officials announced 45 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Saturday bringing the New Hampshire total to 929 cases.

Several cases are still under investigation, but of those with complete information, all are adults with 29 percent being female and 71 percent being male.

The new cases reside in Hillsborough County other than Manchester and Nashua (14), Rockingham (8), Merrimack (5), Strafford (5), and Cheshire (1) counties, and in the cities of Nashua (6) and Manchester (5).

Twelve new COVID-19-related hospitalizations were reported; thus far, 146 (16%) of the 929 positive cases have been hospitalized.

Ten of the new cases have no identified risk factors, meaning community-based transmission continues to increase in the state and have been identified in all counties with cases.

The state also recorded another death, a woman from Rockingham County, 60 or older.

Locally, the number of cases according to DHHS include10-19 in Dover, 5-9 in Rochester and Barrington and 1-4 in Farmington, Somersworth and Milton.

In Maine the case total stands at 616 with 114 hospitalized and 19 deaths. York County remains the second-hardest hit in Maine with 143 cases, while Cumberland County has seen 284.
