DHHS also announced six additional deaths, all over 60. While DHHS lists the death rate among all identified cases as 2 percent, it is actually 1.6 percent. It should also be noted DHHS no longer lists total hospitalizations in its daily update as it did for many months. Neither DHHS nor the Joint Information Center were immediately available to comment on why total hospitalizations are no longer released in the daily update or at what point would the death rate be adjusted downward from its present 2 percent.
