The Rochester Voice believes deeply in supporting nonprofits that seek to support victims of sexual and domestic assault.
Haven, with offices in Rochester and Dover, is dedicated to addressing public health through violence prevention and providing services to improve the well-being of children and families.
Preventing abuse and providing support for those impacted by domestic and sexual violence leads to healthier, more secure children and adults, according to their mission statement.
The Rochester Voice sees far too many domestic violence arrests in Rochester and surrounding communities, and will be partnering with Haven to support its mission in April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month.
During April a portion of our advertising and subscription revenue will be donated to this important nonprofit.
