ROCHESTER - The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts is offering two all-new pop-up art displays in the downtown featuring a selection of works by artist Matt Pidgeon.

Pidgeon is an abstract expressionist living in Bedford who paints with many mediums including acrylic, oil, and enamel on canvas. He is heavily influenced by the works of Wassilly Kandinsky, Jackson Pollock, and Pablo Picasso.

Pidgeon paints with great passion for music and incorporates mood-evoking color and movement in his pieces. His process is experimental and involves hours of working, viewing, and reflection. The awe-inspiring scale of these works invites the viewer to live and inhabit the "worlds and spaces" imagined in each piece.

Matt Pidgeon's work can be seen online at www.facebook.com/artistmattpidgeon.

All purchasing inquiries can be sent to the artist directly at featherbrush@icloud.com. Jetpack Comics and Games is the lead sponsor of these window exhibits. Visit www.rochestermfa.org for more information.
