CONCORD - An investigation into a fatal shooting by police has begun following an incident in Manchester early today, according to the Attorney Generals Office.

An adult male suffered gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers from the Manchester Police Department and New Hampshire State Police were present during the shooting.

No officers have been physically injured, and there is no threat to the public.
