ROCHESTER - Alphonse "Buster" Joseph Talbot, Jr., 95, of 154 Crown Point Rd, Rochester, died on May 3, 2022 at his home.

Alphonse was born in Rochester on February 12, 1927. He served in the Navy, USS Dupont AG80. He worked at the Wyandotte Mills and Prescott Farms. After retiring, Alphonse and his late wife Rita ran a quality used furniture store "Whispering Pines".

He leaves his daughter, Sharron A. McManus of Dover and his daughter, Elaine M. Fistere of Barrington. He also leaves 5 grandchildren, Nicole Strout, Aaron Huppe, Lori Connelly, Melissa Peterson and Garrett Fistere; 6 great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Isabella Connelly, Owen, Sophie, Shelby and Sydney Peterson; 2 nephews Tracy Talbot, and Larry Lambert, and one niece, Joanne Callahan.

He was predeceased by his wife, Rita Arlene Talbot, daughter Patricia A. Huppe, and sons-in-law, David C. Fistere, James F. McManus, Jr., and Paul Huppe; 2 sisters, Ann Ferland, Ruth Kowalczyk, brother Norman Talbot, nephew, Norbert Lambert, and niece Joanie Downs.

Alphonse worked hard all his life and enjoyed his family, friends and his home. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
