George was a proud member of the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his long time companion and dog Junior; his daughter, Julie Landry and husband Rick; best friend and sister, Shirley Grondin; his niece that he loved like a daughter, Dee Mondou and husband Mike; nephews, Marshell Chandler and wife Kim and Randy Chandler; and special friend Sandy. He was predeceased by his son Scott Sheldon.
