City's elementary school students celebrate Dr. Seuss Day

ROCHESTER - Rochester elementary school students recently celebrated Dr. Seuss Day by reading and participating in themed activities.
On March 3 the school honored the author's birthday as part of Read Across America, a week-long literacy awareness and reading motivation campaign sponsored by the National Education Association.
The day started with a breakfast where students were served green eggs and ham, a reference to one of Seuss' most popular books.
