Maine man injured in fiery crash at Hampton Tolls

HAMPTON - A Maine man sustained serious injuries after his pickup crashed into an abutment at the Hampton Tolls and caught fire.
The single-vehicle crash occurred around 4:10 p.m. drawing a response from State Trooper who arrived to find a 2021 Ford F-150 pickup truck fully engulfed. The driver, Patrick Jones, 43, of South Portland, had serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A juvenile passenger was not hurt.
Hampton Fire/Rescue was called to the scene and extinguished the fire.
