DOVER - A Strafford County judge on Wednesday sentenced a 73-year-old Strafford man to at least 25 years in state prison for the attempted murder of his daughter-in-law.Guy Leighton Sr. said it was an accident when he struck her with his car on Nov. 14, 2022, but a jury in July found otherwise. It took them less than a day to find him guilty.During sentencing prosecutors said the victim suffered severe and debilitating lifelong injuries from the incident in which she was run over multiple times....
