Officer wounded, gunman killed during Ashland traffic stop

CONCORD - An investigation is under way in an officer-involved shooting that occurred Monday night in Ashland during a police motor vehicle traffic stop on Main Street. During the traffic stop an adult male produced a gun and engaged in an exchange of gunfire with the officers, according to police.
