Dover's ColorRun promises a colorful time for all

DOVER - Dover will hold its Garrison School’s Color Run/Walk on Sunday.

The “Color Run/Walk” is a 2 mile run/walk course through the surrounding neighborhood streets to promote wellness, community, and school spirit.

Participants are encouraged to wear white or light colored shirts, and will be doused with “color” at certain points along the course.

Garrison Elementary School at 150 Garrison Road, Dover, will host the annual run/walk starting and finishing at the school. The race begins at 9 a.m.

Between 9 and 10 a.m. there will be brief closures of Garrison Road and Shaws Lane to to accommodate the runners.

On-street parking will be restricted where posted until after the event concludes. Motorists and residents should expect brief delays on neighborhood streets including Birch Drive, Linda Avenue, Riverdale Avenue, Arbor Drive, Hemlock Circle, Morningside Drive and Meridian Drive.

Parking for the event will be available in the Shaws Lane ballfields parking areas.
