ROCHESTER – Nora Ann (Barrett) Beaulieu, age 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Watson Fields Assisted Living in Dover, NH, surrounded by her family.

Nora was born on February 13, 1932, in Boston, Massachusetts, alongside her twin sister, Mary. After graduating from Saint Columbkille High School in Brighton, Mass Class of 1951, she worked for the John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston. In her youth, she enjoyed dancing, skating, swimming, and traveling extensively throughout the country with her sister and close friends.

It was her social nature that led her to meet the love of her life, Adrian, at a dance in Saugus, Massachusetts. They were married in 1966 and settled in Somersworth, NH, to raise their family. Together, Nora and Adrian built a life founded on love, partnership, and shared dreams for nearly 60 years before his passing in 2025.

During the family years, Nora loved camping and cross-country skiing trips. A woman of warmth and kindness, she made every house Adrian helped build into a true home. Over the years, she worked at the University of New Hampshire and later at the Porteous Department Store in the Newington Mall during the mid-1990s. Nora touched many lives through her active involvement in church fairs and the Red Hat Society. She stayed vibrant by tending her flower garden and participating in swim aerobics at The Works Family Health & Fitness Center.

In a poignant twist of fate, Nora’s twin sister, Mary, predeceased her by only a few hours.

Nora is survived by her two children, Denise presently residing in Rochester, NH, and David of Dover, NH; and her two grandchildren, Alexa of Washington, D.C., and Hayden of Alton, NH. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Adrian.
