ROCHESTER - A downtown business owner and former mayoral candidate was arrested on Saturday for using fireworks without a permit and resisting arrest, accordeing to Rochester Police, who told The Rochester Voice today that more arrests are expected.
The incident unfolded around 9:30 p.m. on Independence Day when police responded to Robbins Automotive at 20 Summer St. following reports of fireworks being displayed without the required municipal permit.
