ROCHESTER - Two Patton Street women are on a mission to get some speed limit signs on their road to make their neighborhood a safer place to live.
Courtney Bacon, a five-year resident of Patton Street, said the road has a half mile straightaway and speeders take is as a challenge to go as fast as they can. She told a June 17 public safety committee that she’d put out one of those green turtle “Kids Alert” signs and drivers ran them over.
