Man found guilty of violating Civil Rights Act for assaulting transgender woman

CONCORD - Tthe Merrimack County Superior Court on Thursdasy found that a Concord man violated the New Hampshire Civil Rights Act.
The incident leading to the case arose on May 19, 2024, when Travis Lufkin, 25, struck the victim, a transgender woman, in the face at her place of work after he was asked to leave the property. Lufkin called the victim a homophobic slur when he struck the victim.
