Franklin city councilor arrested on assault, disorderly conduct charges

FRANKLIN – Assault charges have been filed against a Franklin city councilor following a two-month investigation by state police. The probe began on May 7 when officers from the Franklin Police Department along with Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police responded to JJ's Wood-Fired Pizza Restaurant & Tavern at 1 Hill Road in Franklin for a reported altercation between a customer and employees.
