MILTON - New Hampshire author Patrick O. Connelly will discuss the Northeast Parish Development into the Town of Milton between 1795-1802 Sunday at the Milton Town House.
In the colonial days the Northeast Parish called Rochester comprised the towns of Rochester, Milton and Farmington.
Connelly spent more than 30 years transcribing the archives of Rochester, which eventually led to his meticulously detailed, annotated book Rochester, NH – New Hampshire Territory to Township 1620 – 1799.
Connelly is a historian, researcher, and author whose work focuses extensively on the colonial history and development of Rochester, New Hampshire. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in History and French, Connelly has spent decades researching Rochester’s earliest records, maps, land divisions, and settlement history.

The talk will be held on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. at the Milton Town House at the corner of White Mountain Highway and Town House Road in Milton.
