City man facing what amounts to life sentence in sex assaults on underage girl in Farmington

DOVER - The jury trial for a Rochester man accused of Aggravated Felony Sexual Assaults on a female minor began on Monday with the defendant facing what amounts to a life sentence if found guilty.
Adolfo Medina, 61, of Lafayette Street, is facing 12 such charges, each one carrying a 10-20 year prison sentence.
Each of the 12 complaints allege that Medina, “did engage in (various sex acts) … when he was in a position of authority as her caregiver.”
