Historic ribbon cutting held at New Hampshire Farm Museum to welcome historic one-room schoolhouse

MILTON - The New Hampshire Farm Museum and the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony earlier this month at the New Hampshire Farm Museum in Milton for the recently relocated 1801 Plummer’s Ridge one room school house.
The school was relocated from its off site location to the museum on April 1. In its heyday, there were 16 school houses in Milton. Today only two remain. The most elaborate of these is the Milton Mills school...
