York motorcyclist succumbs to injuries after collision at Route 1 intersection

YORK, Maine - A York man died on Tuesday following injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Route 1 and Mountain Road in York.
The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Monday drawing York Police, Fire and Ambulance to the scene where a 27-year-old motorcyclist was located severely injured and transported to Portsmouth Hospital due to his juries. The operator of the passenger car, a 26-year-old male resident also of York, was uninjured.
