State Police probe death of person found in Merrimack River

BEDFORD – New Hampshire State Police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found in the Merrimack River on Saturday.
Marine Patrol Officers and State Troopers responded around 3:20 p.m. to a report of a body in the river neaer Hawthorne Road in Bedford.
First responders located the deceased individual and determined they may have been in the water for an extended period of time, according to a Dept. of Safety press release sent out late Saturday....
