Annual flushing of city hydrants begins on Sunday

ROCHESTER - The City of Rochester will begin the annual flushing of fire hydrants on Sunday through Nov. 5. The majority of flushing will be scheduled from 11 p.m. till 7 a.m.
As a result of flushing, some slight discoloration may be noticed in residents' water. If discoloration occurs, it may clear up if you run cold water tap for several minutes.
