Neighbors save residents but family cat succumbs during early morning Plante Street house fire

ROCHESTER - An early morning house fire led to a close call for two Plante Street residents.
Rochester Fire was dispatched around 1:55 a.m. on Saturday to 30 Plante St. for a reported structure fire.
Upon arrival they found heavy fire involving the enclosed porch of a single-story home as well as a nearby shed and vehicle that were also engulfed.
