Manchester man arrested in fatal overdose of Berwick woman in Hudson during 4th of July weekend

HUDSON — A Manchester man remains held in a Hillsborough County Jail accused of supplying a controlled substance to a Berwick woman who died from an overdose in Hudson.
Michael Balboni, 35, was arrested on Sept. 30 and charged with possession and dispensing a controlled drug resulting in death.
Officials said the charge stems after a weekslong investigation into an overdose on July 3, which led to the death of Maryann Hunter Woods, 41, of Berwick, the next day.
