Dover Veterans Hall to be used as emergency warming center till $3.5M facility completed on County Farm

DOVER – The Veterans Building at 156 Back River Road and not the McConnell Center will be the temporary Strafford County Warming Center.
The City of Dover announced on Thursday that the use of the temporary emergency cold-weather warming center will be open on Nov. 15, in the event a warming center is needed before the new permanent Strafford County center opens at the site of the former animal shelter on the County Farm near the jail.
