ROCHESTER - Edith Stibler, 89, of Rochester passed away peacefully on February 3, 2014 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
The daughter of the late Irwin and Edith Shappell, Edith Stibler was born on May 11, 1924 in Bayonne, N.J. and was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph.
Edith enjoyed her loving friends, going to the hairdressers, working on crossword puzzles, crocheting, and especially afternoons on the shopping bus with her wonderful buddies.
Edith is survived by her son, Robert Stibler and daughter-in-law Susan of Barrington; her two grandchildren Cada and Jared Driscoll, her former daughter in-law Phyllis Stibler and her nieces Barbara Jean Stibler and Betty Ann Sokol.
