Rodney C. Welch Sr., 72, died Sat. Nov. 23, 2024, at his home following a period of declining health. He was born in New Hampshire May 24, 1952, the son of Gene and Gloria (Howard) Welch.
He served in the Army as a mechanic during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1972.
He had been employed by Progressive Foods.
Survivors include his wife Frances (Knight) Welch, children Melanie Welch, Becky Welch, Dereck Welch, Megan Welch and Rodney C. Welch Jr.; 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, siblings Leona Harris and her husband Jim, Beverly Welch, Ruby Goodrich and her husband Brian and David Welch and his wife Pauline, nieces and nephews.
