MILTON - Edward L. Howard, 81, died Dec. 9, 2024, at his home following a period of declining health.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1943, in Dover, son of Ormbury and Florence (Canney) Howard.
Howard served in the Army National Guard. He later worked for the City of Rochester with both the Fire Department and Police Department, he also worked at Pratt & Whitney.
Survivors include his Children Debra Twitchell and husband Harris, Jr. of Rochester; Edward J. Howard of Rochester; Tammy Tiralla and husband Paul of New Durham; David Howard and wife Deidre of Rochester; Cathy Belles and husband Rick of Pa.; and his stepson Thomas Terry and wife Linda of Barrington; his grandchildren Bruce, Jack, Eric, Evan, Jake, Lindsey, Scott, Joey, DJ, Jesse, Paige, and Carley, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Shirley (Terry) Howard.
A New Hampshire Press Association member
