MANCHESTER - The Diocese of Manchester, the Roman Catholic Church in New Hampshire, on Monday announced the availability of the La Cerva Scholarship Fund.
Established by Ella Sue and Salvatore La Cerva in 1993 in collaboration with then-Bishop Leo O'Neil, the scholarship fund enables a Catholic education for students entering grades 6-12. Scholarship awards may cover up to 75 percent of a yearly Catholic school tuition in Diocesan and parochial (parish) schools in New Hampshire.
"The La Cerva Family has made Catholic education even more accessible to families statewide," says David Thibault, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Diocese of Manchester. "We are grateful to the legacy their faith and generosity made possible and look forward to witnessing the fruits of it in students for years to come."
