The Rochester City Council will conduct a public hearing on June 16 regarding the development of the City of Rochester’s FY 2027 CDBG Annual Action Plan, which is funded through HUD.
There will be a 15 percent cap for non-construction public services and 20 percent cap on planning and administration. Projects under preliminary consideration for the FY 2027 Annual Action Plan include but are not limited to: supportive services for homeless youth, adult education services, weatherization of low-income homes, and updates to Cross Roads House Shelter.
It is estimated that 70 percent of public services funding will serve low to moderate income residents and 100 percent of all CDBG funding will serve low to moderate income residents.
Drafts of the Annual Action Plan and other official postings are posted to the City of Rochester’s Community Development webpage, which is available online at https://www.rochesternh.gov/community-development-division
Citizens are invited to attend the public hearing in City Council Chambers in City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
