ROCHESTER - The Rochester Public Library Teen Room invites teens to enjoy a variety of events and activities throughout the month of September.

The Teen Fall Reading Program starts on Sept. 8 and runs through Dec. 20.

Kids ages 11, entering 6th grade, through age 18 can sign up on Beanstack: https://rplnhreads.beanstack.org/

Drop-in programs are offered on most Monday evenings and Wednesdays after school. Families are encouraged to refer to the calendar on Beanstack or the library website for more information.

It is also worth noting that we have two growing groups of readers and writers that meet regularly in the Teen Room. No registration is needed.

Writing Group – Wednesday, September 16, at 6 p.m.

Book Group – Tuesday, September 29, at 6 p.m.

“Teens are invited to the library to do homework, hang out with friends, create something or play a game in the maker space, read, or draw on the white board tables. There is something here for everyone,” said Amy Lemelin, teen librarian.
