ROCHESTER - Walter C. Clement, 77, of Rochester, New Hampshire, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital following a battle with lymphoma.

Walter was born on June 18, 1949, in Rochester, New Hampshire, the son of Paul and Anna (Hopey) Clement. He was a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1967.

Walter dedicated 37 years of his working life to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. After his retirement, he became a member of the Rochester Elks.

In 1974, Walter married the love of his life, Tricia (Cronin) Clement. Together, they shared nearly 52 years of love and devotion. They had two beloved children, John and Justine.

Walter enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and took great pride in his hobbies. He loved restoring old cars, especially his prized 1957 Chevy Bel Air convertible. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time at the summer camp he purchased in Maine, a place that brought him many years of happiness and wonderful memories. He also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds.

Walter will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Tricia (Cronin) Clement of Rochester; his son, John Clement of Springvale, Maine, and wife, Bonnie; his daughter, Justine Mangual of Rockledge, Florida, husband, Walter; and two cherished granddaughters, Bella Clement and Mariana Mangual.

He also leaves behind his brothers, Paul Clement, Jon Clement and wife, Holly.

Walter was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Anna (Hopey) Clement, and sister, Leslie Cronin.

Walter will be remembered for his love of family and will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
