ROCHESTER - Robert (Bob) Harrison Jewell of Daylily Lane in Rochester passed away peacefully October 13, 2026, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
Robert was born May 19, 1930, in Rochester NH to Roland Jewell and Merle (Leighton) Jewell.
Robert served in the Army during the Korean war. He worked as a baker and a carpenter in his early years and ended his working career of 22 years at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
Robert was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Gloria Ann Jewell, his four children; Blaine R Jewell, Bonnie L Castonguay, Dale A Jewell, Denise McClellan also his grandson; Adam Jewell. A brother Irving Beebe and his sister Diane Gaskell.
Bob leaves behind his son Mark L Jewell, 17 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great grandchild.
Bob Enjoyed Sundays with Family, gardening, farming, woodworking. He will leave an emptiness that can never be filled, but his love will continue to live through his family, and everyone lives with the memories and stories we share.
