The First United Methodist Church of Rochester is in the throes of a vital Steeple Restoration Project, an effort that will cost somewhere around $800,000.
The steeple is a dominant icon on the city’s own seal, and its rehab is vital to civic pride as well as local residents and the Greater Rochester community.
The Rochester Voice is joining in the fund-raising for the steeple restoration.
We will donate a portion of all new advertising revenue in the month of November to the church’s fund-raising effort.
The Voice will also donate a portion of all new subscriber revenue this month.
We hope Greater Rochester residents will join in the giving in any amount you can spare during this month of giving thanks.
