ROLLINSFORD — One person is dead after being struck by the Amtrak Downeaster in Rollinsford on Wednesday. The individual was killed around 3 p.m. in the area of Main and Mechanic streets. The person is thought to have been walking on the tracks and did not see or hear the southbound train approaching behind them due to wearing headphones. The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
