ROCHESTER - Louise Gauthier, 89, died on Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital following a period of failing health.
Born May 19, 1927, in Rochester, N.H., she was the daughter of George and Cora (Hurd) Downes.
Louise had worked in many local factories throughout her life.
Members of her family include her children Judith Maxfield and husband Alan of Rochester, Bruce Gauthier of Milton, Michael Gauthier of Farmington, and Robert Gauthier of Rochester; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, including a special nephew Pastor Charles Downes of Eliot, Maine.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert Gauthier, her son Richard Gauthier and a special niece Shirley Campbell.
A New Hampshire Press Association member
