ROCHESTER - Charles W. Mantos, 91, died at Huntington Commons in Kennebunk, Maine, on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Born January 19, 1927 in Dover; the son of William and Christina Mantouvalos.
Charles was a graduate of Dover High School and went on to serve his country in the Navy during World War II. He worked for the Boston and Maine Railroad for many years. He was married for 67 years to Gloria Mantos who died in 2016.
Charles is survived by his two daughters, Diane Oates and her husband Timothy of Asheville, N.C. and Christine Ayers and her husband Lee of Berwick, Maine; a son Charles Mantos and Terri Crovetti of Somersworth; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
