ROCHESTER - Azele Marie (Boudreau) Tardiff, Born March 3,1927, in Sanford Maine, daughter of Charles Boudreau and Sara Leblanc, loving wife and best friend to the late Joseph Vallier Tardiff died peacefully Sunday morning 12/5/21 to continue her journey and join her departed husband, brothers and sisters.

Azele leaves her loving and caring sister, Jeanne and her wife Linda, two sons, Bruce from Rochester and Glenn of Ocean Ridge Fla. Azele, known as Hazel to many, also leaves her daughter-in-law Margaret Tardiff wife to Bruce, three grandchildren, Valerie and her husband Drew Holliday , Brent and his wife Devin, and Renee', as well as two great grandchildren, Wyatt 16, and Sienna 10. Azele was predeceased by her sister Muriel, brothers Adrice, Ulysse, Norman, Alfred, and Gerald. Azele also leaves her best friend, Beth Caruso, and countless loving nieces and nephews.

Azele, from age 3, was raised in idyllic Shediac New Brunswick moving to Hartford, Conn. at 19. There she worked for Underwood Typewriter making friends with her future husband's sister. Azele married Joe on December 1, 1951, moving from Hartford to purchase a home and raise a family in Windsor Locks, Conn. Upon the birth of her third grandchild in 1991, Joe and Azele moved to Rochester to reside at Cocheco River Estates enjoying the many friends they met there. Azele was a loving and faithful wife of 63 years and a loving mother. Azele enjoyed vacationing, sewing, travelling, playing cards, and took great pride preparing amazingly delicious meals. Mom fought a long decline amazing those who were around her, her memory being sharp to the last day.
