ROCHESTER - Barbara Irene Clark (Bobby) died on her birthday, August 9, 2014, at The Lodges in Springvale, Maine. She had a rich and full 86 years of life. Barbara was born in St. Francis, Maine on August 9, 1928 the 3rd of 18 children born to Chester & Evelyn (Emery) McBrierty. Barbara was a devoted mother and homemaker. She spent her whole life dedicated to caring for her family and sons. She loved to swim and spent a lot of time at the nearest swimming hole!

Barbara moved with her family as a young teen to Greenville, Maine, where she attended high school. She married Herbert C. Clark and together they raised four sons. In 1978, she moved with her family to Rochester. Following the death of her husband Herbert, Barbara went to work for the Rochester Manor as a Nurse's Aide and later for the Strafford Homemakers.

She is survived by her sons, Herbert C Clark Jr. O.D. and wife Daralyn; Scott K. Clark & wife Elizabeth; Calvin K Clark and wife Iris; her grandsons, Kenneth Clark and wife Sybil and Michael Clark; her granddaughters, Allison R. Smith and husband Jerry and Melanie B. Clark; her great-grandsons, Spencer, Benjamin and Colin Clark; and great-granddaughters, Leah and Ginger Clark and Alivia Smith; her sisters, Cleo Phillips, Sharon Powers, Linda and husband Raymond Inman; Cheri and husband Leon White; Myra and husband Vic Caron; her brothers, Alan McBrierty and wife Linda; and Bruce McBrierty and wife Carol.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Herbert C Clark Sr., a son, Chester W. Clark; her sisters, Nurisha Lail (Tommy), Joan Schultz, Gail Young, Lana McBrierty, Joyce Carol McBrierty, Donna Mae McBrierty; and brothers, Chester R. McBrierty, Hurley M. McBrierty (Buddy), Foster W. McBrierty, Merle D. McBrierty.
