ROCHESTER -The Rochester Performance & Arts Center (a division of the Rochester Opera House) will be hosting a children's class called "Bilingual Boogie: Greatest Hits" on March 24 at 10 a.m. The class is 45 minutes and best suited for children ages 2-6.
Bilingual Boogie is a creative movement activity designed for young children, ages 2-6. Instruction and musical selections are in Spanish and English. The class exposes children to the Spanish language in an energetic and comfortable way. Children (and their caregivers) will hear and be encouraged to repeat Spanish words, phrases, and simple songs while moving about the class.
The Greatest Hits class is a collection of the favorite songs and activities from the Bilingual Boogie dance series. Get ready to learn some classic kid's songs in Spanish and bop around to upbeat music. Comfortable clothing is urged, and dancing barefoot is recommended. Get ready to have fun and learn some Spanish too!
