ROCHESTER - The Ridge's Bloom'n Cow will soon be 'moo-vin' on.

Owner Dawn Lewis said in a farewell post on the shop's website that her final day in business will be Saturday, Nov. 30.

"This decision was as much personal as it was business, and I am not sure what the spring will hold for us, but I do know the last eight years were beyond any of my expectations," she said.

Lewis had operated a Bloom'n Cow in Newmarket for some time, but just opened the one at the Ridge last year.

She said she wanted to thank all the people who supported her, especially those young people who had worked with her.

"I could not have done it without you!" she said.

Prior to Saturday's close next week, the Bloom'n Cow will be open today, tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday.

So if you want to get that final scoop of their handmade ice cream or gelato, now's the time.
