SANFORD - Sanford Police are reporting that a man’s body was found in the Mousam River Friday.

Officials are releasing few details in the case, but say it was found in the vicinity of the dam on Mill Street in Springvale.

Detectives are working the case and attempting to identify the body.

No other information was immediately available from Sanford police.
